Following on from the success of the 2024 Flight EVO, the main areas of improvement for 2025 were aimed at high-end performance and stability.
FULLDESCRIPTION
For 2025, the aspect ratio has been made even higher. The boom length and head width have been reduced to greatly improve high end performance and the leech-twist has also been updated.There is increased twist in the lower-leech area which gives you unprecedented acceleration in the gusts, while the tighter head keeps the nose trimmed when the power hits, preventing the nose from lifting and allowing you to channel all the extra power directly into speed.The luff-sleeve width has been further increased to expand the double surface area of the sails profile. This improves efficiency of airflow and, even more importantly, greatly increases profile stability.All battens are pure carbon tubes, reducing weight and stabilizing the profile of the sail.

RS:Racing holds more world titles and speed records than any other racing sail over the past 20 years.
Quadruple Luff Construction
4 levels of material make up the luff sleeve to increase strength and load carrying performance in this critical, high-stress area of the sail. This luff sleeve design allows us to carry a maximum amount of downhaul tension and greatly reduces stretch in the luff sleeve area, thus increasing performance.
Introduced in 2024, Taffeta in the upper luff sleeve increases stretch resistance, performance and durability.
7 Batten Design
Ultimate control and stability are provided by the 7 batten design.
Airflow Batten Layout
Battens are laid out in an aerodynamically correct way, taking into account the rake of the sail when sailing. This improves airflow, allows for easier rotation and faster acceleration.
Leading Edge Rib
Carbon ribs sewn onto the upper sleeves leading edge stabilize this critical section of the profile on the highest battens where cambers are not used.
This helps maintain the sails profile clean, reducing drag, allowing higher top speed and ensuring proper rotation.
New Materials in Luff and Clew
The new materials have allowed us to improve durability and increase stretch resistance to create an even more responsive and competitive race sail.
High Aspect Design
The outline of the RS:Flight is much higher aspect than the RS:Racing outline, and we took this even further in the 2025 edition. This allows the sail to take maximum advantage of every gust and promotes maximum speed and upwind/downwind performance.
Tight Leech Design
Designed purely for foil free-race, RS:Flight takes advantages of design features which are not optimal to use on fin sails due to the need for control and wind release over chop when using a fin. Hence, RS:Flight features all the design advantages listed above to gain maximum performance when used to power a pure foil race board.

Designed and tested at our NeilPryde Maui Design Center by Robert Stroj, then further developed through our team riders’ feedback from across the world. No stone is left uncovered in our relentless drive to be the best at what we do.
ROBERT STROJ
In order to achieve the weight savings and performance enhancements that we were looking for in 2024, we redesigned our entire wave sail construction, all the way from the panel layout.
We developed very specific materials across the range which enabled us to use larger individual panels with less seams in order to significantly reduce the weight of all 3 technologies.
In 2025, the main design features of the wave sail range remain unchanged but we have improved material choices in the foot and clew of the sails for extra durability.
Variable thickness laminates have been the basis of NeilPrydes panel layout design philosophy for over 10 years and we have been improving their performance and increasing the areas where we are able to use these technologies year over year.
