CORE WAVE RESPONSIVE & LIGHT
Designed to offer maximum advantage to our PWA riders in all conditions around the globe.
Light and controllable from low to extremely high winds. Excellent for radical turns, aerial moves on the wave.
Exceptionally responsive for jumping and riding.
Ideal for side-onshore to side-offshore conditions. Widest wind range and range of use.
FULLDESCRIPTION
Our World Cup Team Riders sail of choice. Completely redesigned in 2024, the main design features of our most advanced wave sail ever remain unchanged for 2025. A higher aspect design featuring a slightly longer mast, wider head and narrower boom greatly increases high end control in this years edition of our best selling wave sail.
Q -Bond panels and extended use of Ultra scrim allowed us to reduce weight by up to 25%.
Ultralight Durability
Built on the foundations of NeilPryde’s patented reinforcement technologies, Pro Fuse sails are not only super light, but as strong (or stronger) than any NeilPryde sail ever built.
KEY FEATURES
Drive & Acceleration
A new, higher aspect design carried over from 2024 with a slightly longer luff, narrower boom and bigger head gives the Combat excellent drive and acceleration whether on the wave or getting going in marginal conditions.
Wide Wind Range
Thanks to the re-designed outline, updated luff curve and new, larger panel layout, this is the most versatile version of this sail yet. Rig it full when the wind is light or you want to use a small sail for extra maneuverability, or pull on a little extra outhaul when rigging for over-powered conditions.
Stability
Our latest luff curve and sail shaping stiffened up the sail very slightly compared to 2023 and the resulting 24/25 sails will remain stable even in high winds.
4 Batten Layout
Our new panel layout has drastically reduced the amount of stitches needed in the sail. This combined with carefully planned material selections allowed us to cut around 25% off the weight of the sails from model year 2023 to 24/25.

DESIGN
INNOVATION
Designed and tested at our NeilPryde Maui Design Center by Robert Stroj, then further developed through our team riders’ feedback from across the world. No stone is left uncovered in our relentless drive to be the best at what we do.
In 2024, we re-invented our wave sail range from the bottom up. We started at the 3D design level, creating new panel layouts and using new materials to eliminate stitches, reduce weight and increase responsiveness. In 2025, the main design features remain unchanged, but we have improved material choices in the foot and clew for even greater durability.
The result is our best wave sail line up in the company’s history.
ROBERT STROJ
In order to achieve the weight savings and performance enhancements that we were looking for in 2024, we redesigned our entire wave sail construction, all the way from the panel layout.
We developed very specific materials across the range which enabled us to use larger individual panels with less seams in order to significantly reduce the weight of all 3 technologies.
In 2025, the main design features of the wave sail range remain unchanged but we have improved material choices in the foot and clew of the sails for extra durability.
Variable thickness laminates have been the basis of NeilPrydes panel layout design philosophy for over 10 years and we have been improving their performance and increasing the areas where we are able to use these technologies year over year.
